Troubling the Water (PDF)
“Trouble the Water” will gather ninth and tenth grade youth for a day of exploring
the fullness of baptismal life, and the Christian callings
to witness and work against violence and for peace.
In worship and in a shared meal, in small groups and large
groups, in video and multimedia presentations, in music
and skits, in discussions and in prayer, ninth grade youth
will explore what it means to "live among God’s
faithful people…and strive for justice and peace
in all the earth."
Those who have participated in Festivals before say:

"It
was a fun-filled day of learning more about Christ and
what baptism really means to us..."
"The best thing for me was rediscovering my baptism,
and looking at real-life problems and answers."
"Our four youth came back excited...keep this up
and you'll find us there often."
"It was an
awesome way to meet people and learn about your Baptism."
